2022 was a fine vintage marked by severe drought and two summer heatwaves. The clays in the vineyard provided a good supply of water, and the clairettes in particular fared well, bringing salinity and an acid base to the blend.
This is the story of a Burgundian winemaker who came to Luberon. He drew on his roots to make unique wines in the south.
A family call and a timely proposal put the winemaker back on the road. Today, from north to south and south to north, each vintage is written in the plural.
