2022 was a fine vintage marked by severe drought and two summer heatwaves. Capriers’ subsoil is rich in water reserves, which meant that the Syrahs didn’t suffer. It was more complicated for the Pinots. The nebbiolos, on the other hand, brought a much-appreciated juiciness.
This is the story of a Burgundian winemaker who came to Luberon. He drew on his roots to make unique wines in the south.
A family call and a timely proposal put the winemaker back on the road. Today, from north to south and south to north, each vintage is written in the plural.
