Burgundy red wine. 80% Gamay, 20% Pinot Noir. Côteaux Bourguignons appellation. Viticulture respectful of the environment and the people who live and work there. Natural winemaking, aged 18 months in demi-muids, bottled unfiltered.
This Gamay parcel is used to make 2 cuvées: Coteaux Bourguignons Rouge, made from this single parcel, and Bourgogne Passetoutgrains, blended with Bourgogne Rouge for the American market. Gamay has always existed in Burgundy, yet it is often confined to limited terroirs. This vine is an illustration of this, but it also produces light, fruity wines that are highly appreciated.
This is the story of a Burgundian winemaker who came to Luberon. He drew on his roots to make unique wines in the south.
A family call and a timely proposal put the winemaker back on the road. Today, from north to south and south to north, each vintage is written in the plural.
