White wine from the Rhône Valley. Luberon appellation 50% Grenache Blanc + 35% Vermentino + 15% Clairette. ECOCERT-certified organic viticulture Manual harvest Natural vinification Long maturation in demi-muids.
L’Odalisque is one of my favorite cuvées. This racy, well-balanced white wine is made each vintage according to Burgundy winemaking principles. The blend has been simplified to include only the 3 grape varieties I consider most emblematic of the appellation. Bourboulenc will undoubtedly be added one day. Based on the principle of sustainable viticulture, with grape varieties that are highly adapted to the climate and no water added, this wine, aged for a long time in wood, holds all the promise of a radiant future for Luberon.
L’Odalisque highlights the most clayey areas of the white parcellaire. Greater ripeness in these well-watered areas produces powerful juices well-suited to long ageing in wood.
MILLÉSIMES
This is the story of a Burgundian winemaker who came to Luberon. He drew on his roots to make unique wines in the south.
A family call and a timely proposal put the winemaker back on the road. Today, from north to south and south to north, each vintage is written in the plural.
